Launch of New Book: "The Avenue" A History of the Claremont Institution, by Rachel Pollard, covering the history of the first ever school for the deaf in Ireland, was officially launched by the Minister for Education & Science, Mary Hanafin. The Kerry Deaf Action Group is having a street collection on 9th & 10th November. Also, church gate collections take place on 18th & 19th November.
