7.5.09 Summerfest - Annual Sports Day Summerfest will be held on the 19th of July in the grounds of St. Joseph's School for Deaf Boys on the Navan Rd, Dublin 7. 23.4.09 Grants For Leadership Training Deadline for grants for leadership training in Ireland under the Ray Murphy Fund is the 31st July and 30th October. The Ray Murphy grants are for building leadership within the community sector from 2008 - 2017. The Community Foundation of Ireland manages the fund. More »

19.3.09 Audilogical Reveiew Over 1,200 children and adults in Cork and Kerry will be recalled for hearing tests after faults were discovered in the work of an audiologist. The HSE has written to audiology outpatients in Cork, Tralee and Limerick, inviting them for a re-test as a precautionary measure. 26.2.09 Radio Interview On Emergency Services Joe Duffy, the well-known RTÉ Radio 1 presenter covered the lack of access to Emergency Services for Deaf and hard of hearing on his popular show The first item was so well received on Tuesday the 17th of February, that they gave more radio air-time to the issue the following day.
